Whales, Print

In elementary school we had to do a project on an animal with the same first letter as the first letter of our last name. I remember saying "walrus" immediately, and the kid who sat next to me (also a W last name) said he was going to do a walrus too. Yes, we were allowed to pick the same animal, but I was not going to settle for that.  "Wombat" I thought. "But what even is a wombat? Are they related to kangaroos? How do you spell marsupial?" Then it hit me!                          

And I've had a great appreciation for whales ever since.
